Manic Depressive - Mt. Bundaleer

Before the 2006 firestorm that engulfed much of the surrounding area of Halls Gap - including Mt. Bundaleer, the cliffs of this area proved to be a welcome reprieve from the summer scorching heat. Given the cliffs are mostly in shade it was a cool(er) place to climb than most other Grampians areas. The area has since been re-opened and re-bolted.

Manic Depressive is possibly one of the most attempted (and climbed) routes in the area, providing a warm up to some of the more serious climbs further along the cliffs.
